please explain “recovery speed” and “in air” i know nothing of these gadgets

Far better machines out there at a better price. In air iron tests=waste of time, no rust halo around the iron…its not rocket science.

Crap recovery speed for such an expensive machine, theres far better and a lot cheaper. “In air” tests with rusty iron are not even worth mentioning, you will have no “iron halo” around the nail caused by the rust from it.

i ha laser rapier good on coins but not deep the explorer is amazing on depth and u can cover alot more ground

The recovery speed on this detector is not great I would say. The recovery speed on the new minelab safari is amazing.

Ok, I just remembered something important to add to this video, I believe!!! When you were comparing the “masking affect” of the penny and the nail, it would have been more fair to put them closer together, and sweep them at different angles. Then, I believe this detector would “shine” in those regards. You kind of “cut your own throat” on that one. Marc.

Nulls out way too much in iron. Had one and sold it not long after..

excellent representation of the explorer se. wonder how it would do with the pro coil? would be interesting to see these tests performed on the new minelab E-Trac…Well done Wolfie.
